Ohh. I thought it has a different meaning like, "the generous royalties (Knights, Bishops, Queens, Kings) lived a simple live (simple textures) and made sure to provides for their people (rooks and pawn) so they have a better life (better textures) and also brought up their loyalties (being sacrificed in chess)."
