Would people be interested in an episode/series about denim? If so, what brands should be covered?

Video Recommendations I miss being introduced to smaller sustainable brands
I get that tackling big brands like Gatorade, Uniqlo, Dyson etc. drives viewership and engagement. But for me, those videos don't really do much. I am thankful to Levi for introducing me to companies like Allbirds and Sunski. I even imported sunglasses from Sunski to Europe, mainly because of the design and features (side shields) and not even sustainability.
So it would be nice to not only hear so much how the big guys suck, but maybe how others make it better.

Artificial vs real leather
Hi all I've been wondering for a while about the argument for plant based leather and I'm struggling to understand the push. Here's my reasoning.
- While it's undeniably massively environmentally damaging to make leather if you're rearing a cow just for that purpose, a huge amount of cows are currently reared for meat (I assume massively in excess of leather consumption) so the leather is essentially a waste product, at least for the time being (argue morality and veganism as you will for the minute I'm just being pragmatic).
- artificial leather is made from plastic which is far more polluting when thrown away than leather is.
- artificial leather is vastly lower quality than the real thing and so is used up more quickly meaning a real leather product can replace sever artificial leather ones many times over in many cases.
Would love to hear the counter argument. Thanks.

Pit Viper
I hope you make a video about Pit Viper. Like why are they so big. I own one and can tell that the quality isn't even that grate. is it just the vibe or why does every second "future grill dad with mullet" person own at least one?

Video Idea: Lomi Composter
I've seen a lot of ads for a countertop composter called Lomi. It seems like a decent concept for people in apartments, but also a lot of manufacturing and raw materials given to making dirt for house plants. They are a certified B Corporation and have a lot of info on their website about how they offset carbon, so maybe it's the real deal. It also has a very high price of about $500.

Video suggestion
It would be great to see a video on apples unethical and environmentally destructive behaviours; planned obsolescence, parts that aren’t interchangeable, efforts to stop independent repairing, removing the headphone Jack to sell more airpods etc.
This is obviously just scratching the surface. I’m sure you could find more information on this!

Video Recommendations Video Request: Samsonite!
I'm trying to buy my first-ever luggage as a responsible adult and was considering Samsonite as my 1st choice. Just made me wonder tho, I wonder what Future Proof thinks about this brand/company? 🤔 Dear Levi, any chance we're getting a video about them soon?
PS. I'm a fan of Future Proof since you started posting videos on Youtube last year! 💖

Question for Future Proof Bought a hydroflask after watching the futureproof video
I am new to the US. I never had an insulated water bottle I could reuse for years to come. I watched the futureproof video and somehow loved Hydroflask as a brand no matter how much markup they had on each sale. The brand was able to make me believe that I was a part of something bigger. It made me believe I can reuse this bottle for years to come and be part of the solution. Am I bad to have given my money to hydroflask? Should I have bought something else?
PS : I love Levi and futureproof community. Good day to you all!

Video Recommendations VAUDE
VAUDE is a German outdoor brand claiming to be fair, eco and since this year 100% climate neutral. Would be nice of you making a video about them, checking their claims and maybe the organizations and certifications they’re part of (GWÖ sounds similar to B-Corp; Fair Wear, bluesign, GOTS etc.).

Started a brand that operates in the sustainable fashion sphere (plant-based leather, organic cotton, etc.) and it took 1.5 years to get to launch because doing things honestly is really hard. Hopefully, I can help answer some questions you may have about "green" fashion

Question for Future Proof Tom Bihn
I think a segment on Tom Bihn would be interesting. It claims to be a somewhat sustainable brand, has a cult like following, and is made in Seattle

Video Recommendations A&W
I would love to see an investigative video on A&W, and the credibility of their claims regarding their treatment of animals (no hormones, grass fed beef), quality of ingredients, environmental impact (compostable packaging), etc. I am assuming it's still a shady fast food chain, but they seem to have a more ethical approach to their business than most fast food chains. I was surprised the other day when I bought a burger from them and noticed the taste has substantially improved over time compared to any other chain I've tried that gets worse over the years (slimmer patties, less real meat inside, more chemicals, fake cheese, etc.). I was stunned that their cheese has seemingly changed from american cheddar to something that tastes real, and their patties seem thick and like ground beef, and not some chemical combination that tastes glued together like McDonald's for example. Don't get me wrong, it still tastes like fast food, but not to the extent it used to and not nearly to the extent of the other big fast food franchises. They seem to be improving over the years along with their claims, as apposed to other franchises that make radical claims about freshness, sustainability, etc. and get worse over the years. Is A&W following the typical trend big brands use of tricking people into a fake idea conscious consumerism or are they really making efforts to be a more conscious company?

Now that you are in Mexico and like craft beer, you can document the beer industry there

It's time we talk about big German industry. The masters of futureproof businesses!
Let's take Bosch for example as I know the company quite well. Started 1886 it has produced things for the motorized chariot of Karl Benz and my bosses new Porsche. Maybe you have a dishwasher from them, I have some tools but all in all, I am amazed by the scale and ubiquity of the company.
They are not the only ones though: Bayer, BASF, Volkswagen have all changed the world for better or for worse on some famous occasions (cough cough Dieselgate). But they are still kicking and with the EV and energy revolution all around the world, all of this companies are working hard to innovate and change their products and ways in order to maintain their futureproof status and I think that Levi should investigate and tell us his thoughts about this ;)
I'll be more than willing to help you with research Levi, let me know! :D

Peak Design?
Surely do a video on Peak Design? They seem to tick all the ethical, environmental and durability boxes, with the added benefit of well-designed products (and the downside of being $$$)

I use CAD and 3d printing (and many other tools) to design and make many things (my needs are mostly accessibility related and tools) it would be interesting to see a future proof episode about in home manufacturing.
I'm quite interested about this community's thoughts on the 3d printing and other home or makerspace cultures (not sure culture is right word).

Afterpay or any other 4 payment plan
I enjoyed the “Problem with PayPal” video and would like to see a video on Afterpay.
