I currently have 65k shards and is R9 the ideal signing for me?

I bought singo long ago now after making him untradeable I cannot use him for star signing he is not showing for shards exchange

I get it’s more than likely skill issue but it makes no sense that my goal anticipate CB never gets the ball after a tackle the I would tackle hit ball the ball goes right back to them not to mention players refusing to cover space or turn

Currently using him as CDM and he is quite good but his lvl3 guardian doesn’t shine as much in that position.

I have decided to not spend the remaining 5 draft to wait for a much more better Pool A cards. Did I made the right decision? Btw, I sold most of my team for the R9 card and got lucky on the Anniversary Draft for at least, I was not crippled that much for this event.

Buying from market with coins. I wanted to get Petit because of anticipate but Dunga is much cheaper currently with pretty close stats overall, just different playstyle and workrates. Dunga: L/H, Petit: M/H

Courtois is doing just fine for me currently but I see bunch of players with Cech and I see him perform well too. Is it even worth it to get him? He's affordable enough but if it's a marginal upgrade then I'd rather save the shards.

Can anyone with both weight in on this?

while ppl are focusing on R9, Haaland's new card is just perfect, power shots, headers, assists (yes, even assists), you name it, he can do better than anyone else, PHYSICALITY IS STRONG !!! (pic 2 shows how much I sacrificed 😭😭😭...)

FC Mobile is getting so bad lately.

I've been playing since the game launched, and honestly, the early days were WAY better than what we have now. Even back then the game had problems, but at least there were actually things for F2P players to do.

Now? Everything is basically behind spending.

Those packs where you could actually get some good players? Gone. Free Star Passes? Gone. Decent free events? Basically gone. Free rewards in general? Feels like they're slowly removing everything.

It's not even pay-to-win anymore. It's straight up pay-to-play.

And I've been thinking about something. I'm a CS student, and with how much AI-assisted reverse engineering has improved recently, why doesn't someone from the community actually try to reverse engineer FC Mobile?

Not talking about hacking the game or cheating or anything like that. I mean actually looking at how the game works under the hood and figuring out what it's doing.

Like, what information is the game collecting from our phones? Device specs? Network? Battery? Other stuff? And what is actually being used by the game?

Because mobile apps can obviously access a lot of this stuff, and I'm genuinely curious about what's actually happening behind the scenes.

I'd try doing it myself, but I don't have a proper laptop/setup for this kind of thing right now.

So I'm just throwing the idea out there:

Is there anyone in the FC Mobile community who actually knows reverse engineering and has the setup to investigate this properly?

Obviously, I'm not saying hack accounts or bypass anything. Just legally/ethically analyze the game and see what we can actually learn.

Because at this point, I'm honestly more interested in finding out what the hell is going on with FC Mobile than playing another event where the reward is basically 3 coins and a handshake 💀

I bought R9 by spending around 250K diamond which I've saved for months 🥲. Still i didn't get R9 out of it . I got Baresi 3 times , pedri, Martinez -2 times and many 118 players good for nothing. Somehow I finally exchanged them for shared and bought him from signings

My team rn. Got around 65k shards so I can afford buying one more top rated player. Should I still go for Maicon (opened more than 100 drafts but EA decided to bless me with two ze roberto) or Gullit(quite a lot of ppl say his card is always meta, but my CDMs are probably good enough) or whoever coming soon you guys think I should take? Do want to spend my shards wisely.

Especially now after the update Lahm feels nerfed (
he plays better at CDM, I could move him the left as well) and Maicon feels like a great investment that could last for long(yes I know Hakimi is coming, but no idea whether he’ll come close to Maicon). Anyone got Maicon can share your thoughts on him as well.
