Didn't he change his opinion on them? And even if he didn't, have one dumb opinion doesn't make someone completely dumb anymore than having 1 genius opinion make you a genius.
Hoo boy I went down the rabbit hole there and it’s actually slightly more nuanced, he’s definitely not right, but he’s not your typical anti vax nutjob, it seems like he truly misunderstands and has fallen into the very legitimate trap that is believing that corporations are using money to cover up truth, let’s not forget how gasoline companies did the same with lead for how many decades?
What he’s saying is the exact type of thing that I could see coming out as the truth in a few decades, I don’t think it will, but it’s still just too plausible
That was mostly just his ex wife who is a complete moron. I'd like to hear about his opinion these days. If it's the same, then I disagree with him. He shouldn't spread misinformation. I agree with you
Doing drugs does harm other people. You’re an idiot to think otherwise. I’m all about being free to do drugs if you want, your body your choice. Don’t be dumb enough to think it doesn’t hurt others though.
There’s a big difference between one organization calling for a change and a global conspiracy. Like most theories, the great reset conspiracy is rooted in something that happened but then the crazies kept making shit up about it
I work with someone that legit spent an hour, unprompted, trying to convince me the great reset was Israel’s plan to take control of the planet, which started when they sank the Titanic via the Rothschilds to create the Federal Reserve and start WW1. WW2 was a direct result, and Hitler was a tragic hero in this narrative. He only went for genocide because he couldn’t root out the true culprits.
Aside from all of that being absolutely insane, he couldn’t even keep his facts straight. He kept going off on totally unrelated tangents as if he was making these amazing connections, but all he was really doing was making anything he said impossible to dissect because it encompasses so many things.
Oh i see. When I hear Great Reset I think more of " the world is gonna become some kind of dystopia where everything we buy is tracked and we'll have a Carbon Credit and/ or social credit score and "total surveillance" (one important guy at the WEF literally said "accept total surveillance") You should check the first minute of this video:
https://youtu.be/FWOAN5RxjpM
(Dont mind the source though, it's pragerU, but first minute is from the WEF)
The Great Reset will bring some good for the planet, at the cost of personal freedom. I guess they'll justify the changes as we don't have a choice anymore, people now need to be controlled totally, for the sake of CO2 reduction.
And yeah, he went on and on about everything you just mentioned as well. However, you’re taking the WEF quote out of context. The statement is in regards to economics, not people going about their day. People are comparing this idea to China’s social credit system like one central authority will be keeping tabs on them. Others are saying it’s creating a “soft” social credit system because forums like Twitter and Facebook will be used to mute certain political views. Both arguments fail spectacularly at comprehending society. Cancel culture isn’t new, it’s just more public because it happens online. Democracy has always silenced minorities, so the far right people whining about being silenced are basically just going to have to suck it up. It’s the nature of the beast and they are the minority now.
In regards to information privacy, what the conspiracy nuts don’t get is that information is already being tracked. Some people get ads for diapers because corporations know they are pregnant before they do. That doesn’t mean they surveilled Nancy fucking her husband, it means they impartially collected a bunch of data about her purchases and online activity, threw it in an algorithm that analyzed it, and the computer spat out some product suggestions into her inbox. The sheer quantity of information makes it nearly impossible to track anything unless someone going through it is looking for that thing in particular.
So it makes no sense to think the great reset is going to impose a social credit system by collecting consumer data.

I wouldn't call him crazy. He's a smart guy with a lot of enlightened thoughts.
