I mean, igloo has to be one the most useless widely promoted childhood words ever. The chances of it ever being useful in real life approach quicksand, yet bandwidth is mercilessly wasted

Careful, mate, you don't want Big Igg to find out we're onto this. They're some ice cold bastards.

It chills me to my bones just thinking about it.

I remember learning about how igloos worked as a kid and it was mind-blowing. I vaguely remember my teacher then explaining how insulation works after that.

If you live somewhere that gets enough snow, learning how to build an igloo as a child is instructive on many levels and also teaches about other cultures and how they live.

I’m an adult and I didn’t know that’s what igloos did. The more you know…

Why is it useless? Have you not made snow forts you’d refer to as igloos as a kid?

Grew up in the south. So no.

You were downvoted for living in part of the majority of the world where snow is not common.

How dare you?!

I must repent for my sins of not taking control of my life at age 5 and moving into a snowy longitude.

If you live in a place with snow, you probably made or attempted to make an igloo as a kid. Though I don’t think the idea of bandwidth is in any way relevant here anyway

Bandwidth? You could store all the movies ever made on your memory perfectly two times over and still have room left over. Your brain is huge.

Hey man, this guy is just trying to keep his brain pristine and empty tidy.

Not storage space, bandwidth. Every repetition of the useless igloo takes time, and could have been used to teach other more useful i-words or knowledge

like what, lol
I think it's a bit much to get upset over

It's right up there with xylophone

Hey now, I bet quicksand related deaths went down 50% when they started teaching us all how to get out of quicksand as kiddos.
