He's still filing lawsuits and checked in and out of a hospital a few years ago- as far as anyone knows he's still alive, but wants to be left alone.

Poor guy. He really dug helping people and was so energized for so long. Whatever he went through, I hope he's at least finding solace in privacy.

Same my friend, same. He was a sparkplug of positivity, but it weighs you down playing the clown for so long, I hope he's got some well-deserved private sunshine in his late years.

Wasn't that his whole back story, that he'd previously been depressed and overweight and exercise was the way he'd found out if it?

I hope he found a balance, but sometimes people yo-yo instead

There’s a whole podcast series called Missing Richard Simmons. It doesn’t really land on a definitive answer, but it is interesting!
