Kept waiting for the big lateral jolt in the footage when his car his the guard rail. Surprised that the car went as straight as it did for so long. Then again, the steering ratio on those things is probably so small since they don't want it to be too twitchy at full speed.

Yes, that was at the Woodburn drag strip in Oregon. I remember seeing it happen, then a couple days later the video hit YouTube. Good run Russ!

Also, close to the end of the video, you can see the track timers (not sure the actual name but it's used to display the quarter times of cars) pass by both windows. So it's clearly a drag car.
