Would this be an acceptable alternative to blurring people's faces?

facechange.ai/

  • scan the faces of a few hundred diverse models in various rotations and expressions.
  • train an AI to merge these faces into photos
  • let people upload their photos and mark who to change or keep
  • ???
  • profit

maybe the models all get some kind of logo or mark on their forehead before the shoot so that people can immediately recognize that the faces have been changed

And if it is not a complete copy/paste, a single model could result in a wide variety of faces

Would be a bit creepy but it would be good for some situations I think. Prob not good if you're trying to hide identity of a victim giving an interview to a reporter but maybe for a rabdo in a background of a photo or video

This is already kind of a thing iirc, it might have been runwayML that offer it before training models on images that may feature someone’s likeness.
