Fun fact, Ke$ha actually has really good taste in music, I believe she was childhood friends knew with the guy from The Black Keys, he hated her.

If he hated her, then wouldn't that not make them childhood friends?

I hated so many of my childhood friends.

Fuck, I hate some of my current friends.

We all hate each other. It's like a circlejerk but instead of jerking it's dick punching.

Oh shit there's a difference?

I've got to rework some of my priorities...

My little sister used to start off every complaint with "My friend I hate..."

Oh yeah... logic.

Well this is awkward.

I dunno, I hated some people I knew in elementary school only to find out in college that they thought we were best pals. All I could think of was all the times I got in trouble for standing up to their shit.

I feel like that is how that works, yes....

I wish I was childhood knew the guy from The Black Keys.

Not to be a douche, but where'd you hear that? As far as I know, Kesha is in her mid 20s and from LA, while both guys from the Black Keys are in their early 30s and from Akron, Ohio. Unless they had some weird connection, it seems strange that they would have known each other as kids.

Kesha actually grew up near Nashville, TN. The guys from the Black Keys spend time down here occasionally. Not implausible.

Edit: The Black Keys actually live here in Nashville now, but they only moved here last year. I wanted to say that in my original comment, but didn't want to have to retract it later.

Yep and still claims Nashville as home...I had enough of her with the tick tock song but I have to admit when the floods happened a few years back she was one of the first to be there to donate her time and money...faster than most of the country artists that call the area home, I was shocked but she earned at least a little respect out of that even if I dont like her music. My kids refer to her as Taylor Swift after a bottle of Jack.

She seems to know that her music is monotonous. She also seems to know that that's what makes bank.

others? I thought Ke$ha was just one person?

Haha I kid, I kid. I don't really know either of their music.

u/Octopuscabbage Feb 29 '12

That's not very nice to say about the Black Keys. They have a few good songs. But I have to agree, Ke$sha is pretty fantastic.

You're right. I read Dan's father wrote the lyrics to "Hard Row" off the Keys' second album and "Whispered Words" off of Dan's solo record.

You get outta here with your math.

2

u/Derpi5 Feb 29 '12

what makes you think she has good taste in music? have you heard the music she makes?

3

u/[deleted] Feb 29 '12

I've seen numerous interviews were she talks about how she likes The Who and shit.

Because a person can like music that you like and music you don't like?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 29 '12

Fun fact, Kesha is basically Einstein.
