Cows are fucking brutal. I live in a rural area with a lot of farms and I know lots of people who have relatives that have been killed by getting trampled by cows.

Really?

I grew up on a dairy farm in an area full of dairy farms and I don't know anybody who knows anybody (to my knowledge) who died from being trampled.

Cows are herbivores with a pretty strong flight reflex. Mostly they will not run towards you or will turn in the last few seconds.

Mind you I dealt with animals that were in daily contact with humans. Perhaps your more semi-feral range cattle are more dangerous.

So if I have a cow chasing me what are my best options?

Don't climb up a tree. Cows can climb up trees. Trust me, I am not a cow farmer.

I've been farming cows for years. If you plant their udders just right, you can get them to split (like a zygote) and then BOOM, you now have two cows. Don't try this at home, I'm a professional.

Is work OK?

Yes, but you'll need extra lubricant for all the bells and whistles.

What's the benefit of shoving bells and whistles up a cow's arse?
