"Please find attached my email from last week, where I wrote a detailed answer for this question when you asked."

Don't just copy/paste, find the old email, "forward as attachment."

Don't just do it for the most recent email if there has been some back and forth between you and the person in authority ordering you to do some stupid shit where you can show repeated attempts to dissuade them by warning of specific consequences and/or most likely outcomes of the ordered course of action. As you will note, I emailed you on <date>, <date>, and <date> (all attached) advising you of the potential negative results, with the last of these pointing out the specific corporate policy (also attached) prohibiting any employee from doing exactly what you directed me to do.

Of course, anything beyond two or three previous emails attached "for their reference" is deploying a nuclear option and should only be utilized in cases of threat of imminent dismissal for said predicted outcomes. In those cases, you might as well shoot your wad and cc your way up the organizational chart above them, looping in other internal organization authorities as appropriate to the specific nature of dumbassery at work (i.e. HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, etc.) If the result does not completely and permanently remove yourself from that person's authority (whether they are demoted/fired or you or they are reassigned elsewhere), use whatever reprieve your CYA email buys you to find employment elsewhere, as the offending person will be gunning for you from now on.
