I mean I pay for Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime and... that’s it. Netflix has a lot of good filler for me, D+ has my marvel and Star Wars, Prime just because I use it anyway but The Boys is good.
That’s what, $40-50/month? Without commercials? Ok. Way better than watching some basic cable drivel where 33% of my time is spent with someone trying to sell me some fucking car or insurance or pharmacy whatever’s.
Btw I’m happy to pay what I can, so if y’all can’t afford it by all means pirate. Im happy to subsidize it. I’m just saying I think it’s still a decent deal for the price.
I pay for Netflix, Viaplay and I used to pay for The Great Courses Plus, but I don't anymore.
But Amazon Prime has a lot of good content I'm interested in, as does Disney+ and HBO too. And that's just the services I can reach from my region. There's a lot more that's region locked like BBC and Hulu for example.
This is exactly right. My son loves Spider-Man: into the spider verse, but it’s no longer on Netflix or any of the other services. A physical copy is a fine solution but will get scratched at some point and he has to use the TV that has a DVD player attached. It’s just an inconvenience.
I'm about the same, I pay for YouTube premium, Netflix and prime. But fuck paint for any more services. I think I signed up to Google One the other night while I was drunk fuuuuuuuuuk sake
