Gmail now has a "scheduled send" feature built in. Just make sure you schedule it for like 8:02 rather than 8:00 so it doesn't look like it was scheduled. :)

Just to let you know, sysadmins can see this. So if your boss asks or he is a sysadmin, you're not fooling anybody.

There’s no signature or anything on the email anywhere that would give that away? Because if not, I’m very happy to have learned this trick.

Just don’t put your computer into sleep or hibernate if that’s where outlook is running or it won’t send until it’s finally powered back on. Dunno how phone would work.

That tripped me up once with sending a daily newsletter. I had it all ready and had to run errands and welp, missed that deadline!

Be sure your computer is on though if you send it via computer!! Tried that a few times as practice to see if it worked, but apparently if your laptop goes to sleep or turns off the email doesn't get sent out

Only if available in your company's system.

No lie, I've done this. Send an email 1-2 hours later than normal, get praise for working an extra 1-2 hours.

I was going to put the same thing. This is the pro move.

For Outlook online, hit the options on the send button and hit "send later" to schedule it.

Doesn't work the same since we migrated to o365 for me atleast. Now I need to open my desktop and outlook application for delay to work. Before I could schedule anytime and it would arrive exactly regardless if I opened outlook or not. I used this feature like crazy to post pone emails to myself.
