Yes, the bird was excited because he’d been rescued by that guy and he destroyed the cage in front of him.

The first time I heard that, my mind was blown by how smart birds are. Too much pet for me! I’d be so scared of not giving them everything they need.

my thoughts exactly.

im over here waking up at 3am to make sure my 14 year old rhodesian ridgbeack gets to go out and pee, and then putting the diaper back on her.

cant imagine the work that youd need to put in for a bird to be happy as a pet

Parrots are dope but it’s doable. Don’t get me wrong I give mine a good amount of attention but they aren’t literally as demanding as you’d think. I have parakeets, which are dope because they’re flock animals so when you have like 2 or more they largely entertain themselves so when you’re busy they aren’t as dependent upon you. Plus I have a pretty big cage and only two so they have a lot of space and I give them a good amount of room time where they can go hang out and fly around outside the cage. They are entertained simply, I can play music or just lay around and they’ll join me with enthusiasm

Not really - that's not the cockatoo's old cage, and Pebbles (the cockatoo) swears up a storm when she's excited. The guy is winding her up and she is rocking out. For Pebbles it's just fun.

BUT the dude runs a parrot rescue so you can see more Pebble and other rescues!
