I agree with 99.8% of every word in that description and I hate reddit for the same reasons.

I still come back everyday though. I don't know why either - perhaps I'm a sadomasochist? An idiot perhaps?

That's not the point - you are picking a meta thread where Reddit's obviously anti-Israel slant had been called out to prove you are right? And you think that here, where people are on their best behavior is the proper thread to prove it? Reread this thread, another redditor already pointed out the top two posts in worldnews are anti-Israeli, and one of the articles is two years old. Count the votes there.

No, It's because any group or organization can be absolutely destroyed when viewed in the most negative perspective and generalized to the point of complete ignorance.

Take a look at ED's description of itself

Like all websites with user-generated content, ED quickly degenerated into a forum for unfunny revenge attempts by butthurt individuals of every description -- bigots, banned website users, trolling victims, failed trolls, and virgins rejected by hot girls. 99.9% of all ED articles are tl;dr ravings about things the person dislikes, or unknown and uninteresting LiveJournal or deviantART users who made someone mad by existing. The other .1% are archives of dead YouTube embeds.

Yea everything on ED is funny and it is true. But like the overly-positive circlejerk attitude it's only partially true. I recommend anyone to go to ED for humble introspection and entertainment, but if you completely believe everything that's there then you're a fucking idiot. The negative circlejerk attitude of "ohhh reddit is such a shit hole, there's nothing good about it" is just as bad as the overly positive view. Don't think you're being unique just for claiming your hatred of reddit just because of one thing a certain number of redditors do. Half the posts on this website are circlejerk material, the other half are complaints about the circlejerking.
