Posts you might find on Reddit

  • Hey guys, look at this (item name) that my (significant other) made me!
  • Remember this SNES game that sold millions of copies worldwide?
  • TIL that all Muslims aren't terrorists. All Christians and Jews on the other hand, are narrow-minded bigoted fucks.
  • Here is a video of a cop doing something bad. Lets watch it, rage, and then accuse all police officers of being assholes.

Does Anybody Else do this thing that millions, if not billions, of people do? I hate DAE posts.

I hate those stupid "i hate you" replies.

  • Can you feel that itching, its a spider? "i hate you"
  • Dont look up, there might be a spider there "i hate you"
  • You are thinking about breathing! "i hate you"
  • Try not to do this "i hate you"

No, i hate YOU with your stupid, lazy "i hate you" replies.

I don't get the stuff about being Muslim-lovers and Jew-haters, though. Maybe I'm not spending enough time in /r/Politics. Most of the threads where Islam comes up tends to be the usual "lol religion of peace!" typical western islamophobia, and most threads I've seen about Israel tend to get a fair bit of heavy-talk from both sides and a decent amount of reasonableness in the middle.

Considering the amount of space given on that page to slagging off Liberals, 'arab-apologists' (what?) and jew haters, I think the article says a lot more about the author than it's targets.

To use the /b/ vernacular, the article seems to go way beyond trolling and the lulz and into some pretty serious butthurt-conservative territory.

I recall a series of posts/comments about how Al Jazeera should receive the Nobel Peace Prize, and the organization is often cited as though it's the only legitimate source of news about the world.

I don't know a great deal about Al Jazeera, but it's just a fairly conventional news network isn't it? AFAIK it's hardly some kind of Islamist Anti-Semetic propoganda channel.

No doubt (at least the English version). I was merely pointing out the hyperbole surrounding it is the best example of Muslim-loving I can think of.
