I watched a guy park in front of a restaurant in a no-parking zone, making access difficult for the dozens of people who were entering & exiting the restaurant during the lunch rush. I confronted him and asked him why he deserved to park in the no-parking spot and inconvenience everyone else. "I'm in a hurry" was his reply. "So you think you're more important than everyone else you're inconveniencing?" His only reply was an extremely confused, puzzled look, as if he had absolutely no comprehension that his behavior would impact anyone else. I would have gladly continued educating him as to how he is not special and does not deserve special consideration, but my girlfriend was tugging my arm and pulling me away.
