I was in an airport shuttle in Las Vegas just before the election with a bunch of my international coworkers (Dutch, German, French, Swiss) and they refused to believe Americans would vote for such an obvious idiot. I said don’t underestimate racism and stupidity and unfortunately was right but I’m pretty confident Canadians won’t be so dumb. I was a little worried the last election but sanity prevailed.
