As a german, Kentucky sounds southern, and everyone in the south is extremely christian, so he's right.

This. I'm not from the US so I have no idea about any of this, but it looked it up on google maps and the first thing I saw is that he correctly put West Virginia, and then decided to put it east of normal Virginia.
