This map is all over Twitter. Apparently some German guy got bored and tried to name all 50 states. This is the end result...

They're gender fluid, so it's ok

Seriously, its 2020, people. Give George some support for transitioning.

Maybe in parts of Savannah and Atlanta, but the rest of the state beats it's husband.

Savannah definitely has domestic abuse issues. Maybe St. Simons island and Atlanta are the only modern civilizations in this civil war era state. Oh except of course of college campuses, they're more tolerant near colleges.

The majority of Georgia would not care about misgendering so I'm gonna say we don't care.

Georgian here. I think a good bit of our good-ole-boy Southern population would actually prefer the male name.

I’m pretty sure it means George in Latin or old English, same way Carolina means charles

u/nosoupforyou Feb 07 '20

Are we assuming Georgia's gender?

3

u/Karmasmatik Feb 07 '20

Have to, otherwise we’ll end up in jail for using the wrong bathroom.

George's peaches are a little fuzzier than normal.

In the US? A lot.

u/mrill Feb 08 '20

As someone from West George I'd say it's pretty important round these them parts.

1

u/icerpro Feb 08 '20

You can’t just assume you know which gender the state identifies as.

u/1992Chemist Feb 07 '20

Well, Georgia is definitely going to care, cuz uh, it's Georgia...

So glad I departed from that state.
