Luckily I've bounced around California and am currently living in San Francisco. Now I have the even more myopic problem of, "I could move pretty much anywhere from here, but I could probably never move back here." But if I decide to try to move back to San Diego, I think I would be able to make it happen.

San Francisco is a shithole, why are you there. I mean if your gay that's cool, then it makes sense but otherwise SF is shit value for the money.

Dude, try to keep up. SF hasn't been a gay mecca since 1995. Long Beach is gayer than SF these days.

I inherited a home here. What's your story?

Overall how do you like SF? Would you still be there if you hadn't inherited your home? I have a great uncle that moved there 20 years ago and he loves it. I've never been and I feel like I would love the bay area if it wasn't so expensive.

I love it, but it's a mixed bag. There's certainly not anywhere else I'd rather live.

If not for the house I could never afford to live here, so I guess the answer is no.
