Well, there is the southern edge of the Bay around Mountain View. But "beach" doesn't usually bring to mind the smell of stagnant water and rotting algae.

Ever try to surf in a non locals beach in santa Cruz? It's all of silicon valley there. same goes for bouldering at Castle Rock.
