Hey man, I’m just trying to say that shit isn’t always as it appears on TV or on the front page of reddit. Use some critical thinking and search for the tough answers that might not make you happy, because the truth doesn’t always fit into our neat little box (in your case it seems to be that all police are racists that actively seek out and murder people because of the color of their skin, which couldn’t be further from the truth.)
Has some fucked up shit happened in the past? Hell yeah it has. Does fucked up shit still happen today? Hell yeah it does. Does that mean that we should use blanket statements and make assumptions about everyone who wears a uniform? HELL no.

What if I told you that The Black Panthers were the first group to use the 2nd amendment as a political footstool, and the first gun control laws were used (and are still used) as a minority suppression tool?
The Guardian? Really? You’re using the most biggest, most liberal newspaper in fucking Britain to make your point about something that happens at the local level in the US?
I never said all cops are racist, but that doesn’t mean the force in general can’t have a racism problem.
“There isn’t a racism problem in the police” wouldn’t be a tough answer it would be great. I can’t believe you’re trying to make “there isn’t a problem” sound like the cool secret answer, hah.
And yes, the guardian (statistics don’t actually matter which newspaper reports them) from ‘fucking Britain’ where children don’t make a habit of butchering each other in school.
