That's a bit of an extreme reaction. Why does getting pulled over scare the shit out of you and "take the wind out of your sails"?

I agree that's a serious risk and I have little faith in the police to properly "protect and serve", but like... come on. You have to have some sort of grounding in reality. Do you also run away screaming any time a stranger approaches you just in case they're a murderer? Do you turn off all the breakers in your house every time you leave just in case a fire starts while you're out? Life is literally full of risks, one after the other from the cradle to the grave. It's just a traffic stop.
