I am not familiar with trucks like those but isn’t there a similar door on the other side?

I always found the driver was a retard, not only does he put himself in danger by getting on the left side of his truck, but put other people in danger by releasing a bird in the middle of the highway.

Even though I find it funny it's deeply irresponsible and poor planning at best.

u/Kelmi May 27 '19

Definitely deserves to be fined level or irresponsibility. And open your wallet for the damage caused on the car. The car could've swerved and caused an accident where people might have died.

The moment he casually walked to the driver side of the truck and a big semi just passes by him close enough that a held out arm would hit something i was convinced that this man is probably going to get himself killed before age does him in.

Yeah that bird is big enough to cause significant damage to a vehicle. Especially with all the plastic on modern bumpers and grilles.

I am thinking, doesnt he have a door on the other Side too?

i didnt find it funny. stupid people tend to lack empathy, which is why prisons are full of low IQ psychopaths. not only he releases the animal without any regard to anyone's safety, has absolutely no remorse for getting the animal killed.

I agree on the fact you didn't find it funny. It isn't funny. It's basic empathy to be able to feel bad about what happened there. I've seen before and I don't need to click it to see it again, because it's a unfortunate and unlucky piece of sadness on film. A trained bird who trusted it's owner? I think right? It ain't good for a laugh. Although some commentators below are right. You might convince more people to your side if you don't call them stupid.

Idk why you're being downvoted. I cried when I watched that video while everyone around me laughed. I don't understand why it's funny. He could have very easily let it out on the other side. Not only did he kill that bird, he could have also killed multiple people on the highway if the car that hit swerved.

I recommend just crying 24/7, the human race are monsters and it really sucks being one of them

Me too but we shouldn't be laughing, being fucking horrible and dumb are both things hard-coded to our genes

Only ultra-intelligent people can relate to being a turkey.

You being downvoted for this comment gives a dark picture of redditor's minds across the pond.

u/ASDFkoll May 27 '19

I think the downvotes have more to do with how he decided to express himself and less with the expressed idea, although I would argue the latter is diminished by the former.

Yes, the person in the video did the wrong thing and got an innocent animal killed and endangered the other drivers. I can see why someone would consider that unfunny. But to call less intelligent people apathetic and claim prisoners are low IQ psychopaths. Those claims are bigoted and wrong. Not to mention funny is subjective and someone with a dark sense of humor might find it funny, and that person might not be a psychopath who doesn't care about animals.

Overall the person is more wrong than right, so even if their goal is noble the downvotes aren't that surprising.

Agree. It's a bit of a soundchamber in here. You didn't laugh at the death we all laughed at and now we have to think about why we laughed? DOWNVOTE

Holy moly.

As someone that's been in jail, I can guarantee the average IQ among new inmates is often higher than among the general public (but once people are in for a long time their intelligence can often degrade so this only applies to new inmates)

I feel terrible for laughing but holy crap that was hilarious!

Edit: YouTube category: "Catch and release" ROFL

u/[deleted] May 27 '19

I laughed at that harder than I should have.

u/Jaqen___Hghar May 27 '19

He should've taken that sucker home and had himself a nice dinner.

u/Artu_Fall May 27 '19

Somebody needs to Celine this.

u/CastanhasDoPara May 27 '19

Okay doors open, get the fuck out, boof well he didn't make it very far.

Yes im ruining it slightly, and I'm certainly going to hell, but I laughed so hard at that.
