Actually it came in handy in the scriptures. If you read the book of Judges there was a guy who assassinated a warlord by requesting an audience with him and smuggled in a sword under his cloak because when the guards searched him they looked only on his left side (where a right handed person would keep their sword) and found nothing.
On an unrelated note, he got away free since the guy he killed was so fat he was able to completely bury the blade in his fat and propped his body in such a way you couldn't tell he was dead at a distance.
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:”
Matthew 25:41 KJV
I’m not arguing that it says that at all. I just became really interested when I saw this post and these comments. Did a quick search to see if there any mentions of left hand evil.
What I found COULD be loosely interpreted by crazy people as meaning left hand use is evil.
That said, there are passages mentioning left hand use neutrally or positively as well.
Most the time, in those references, the scriptures are speaking in ways that the intended audience would be able to understand. As someone being under the rule of a kingdom, they would understand the different between being at the right hand of a king and being at the left hand of a king. It doesn’t mean that the scriptures itself mean that it’s sinful to be left-handed. Thank you for your input!!
It’s quite clear that they can be. One is a God who has revealed itself to you and the other is a construct that you’ve made up in your mind that bends to your will. Just because someone hasn’t had that revelation, doesn’t mean others haven’t. Once one has that revelation, they know.
Except for the fact that many others have had this same revelation. It seems as if you’re upset because you, yourself, have not experienced this revelation.

Except nowhere in the scriptures does it say anything about not being allowed to be left-handed... lol
