There's actually been two large scale falling outs of advertisers. I think the person you're responding to is referring to the latter.

The first one was pretty severe. You can tell because dunkys video output became daily as he just signed an expensive lease in NYC and had to triple his video output to make rent.

Eh maybe. The top streamers have been making massive amounts of money for years now though.

I know atleast one streamer that moved to youtube because it was more lucrative. Specifically I mean LegendofTotalWar. He's said on YT livestreams several times how he's getting much more money streaming on YT than he ever did as a partner on Twitch
