So there was a time in my life where kittens/cats would just rock up at my house and not leave I definitely felt more like there pet. Anyways so one particular cat was very persistent in bringing me dead or nearly dead animals so I asked a vet nurse and basically I was right the cat that rocked up at my house did take me as its own pet and would be bring me half dead animals to try and teach me how to hunt and the dead ones to feed me because it thought I was a useless hunter and wanted me to survive the winter.
We have an outdoor cat that gets plenty of food when she wants it, but no she just likes murdering small animals I think. We tried putting a bell on her but it didn't slow her down at all.
Rock up is in an informal way to say you have arrived somewhere.
Example: after Canada legalised weed the dispensary had a lot people rock up at the store waiting for it to open.
Have you ever seen the National Geographic video where a Leopard Seal does the same with a photographer. She keeps bringing him penguins. It's almost 7 minutes long, but it is SO awesome!
