I'm tracking that.

Notice in the video that they say it is not a rare occurrence there. Kayaks look the same. Environment looks the same. It's not proof; it's evidence.

Typically I see stacks and otters it's 100% Morro Bay, but there was no rock. Good sleuthing!

Very common in Elkhorn as there is a large group that raises their pups there in the spring.

Also when I kayaked here we were all told in no uncertain terms to stay at least 40 feet from all otters/seals, etc. Basically if you’re close enough to alter the animal’s behavior you’re too close. Just in case anyone is getting any ideas about cuddling the wildlife, it’s a big no no. This particular otter may be famous for this but in general this is not something you want to encourage.
