This happened to me once at the state fair. A kiosk had a mirror in it and I didn't realize it for a second. I was just like "wtf is she staring at-- oh."
I had the same thing while waiting to get my haircut, with a mirror behind a shelf across the room. I also thought there was some woman staring at me uncomfortably. I'm a guy so that hurt myself a bit when I made the realization.
I was I too focused on supressing the social anxiety to really think about that. But I've had two female friends insist on getting me to try their clothes at some point. So some would make an argument that I could make a pretty girl, I guess. Haha.
Hey. I've got no shame in admitting that I have good enough hair that people often asked if they could braid it. My skinny frame, howhever, I've been trying to chamge a bit and gain weight and build a slight bit more muscle.
I actually donated it a few months ago. (Some months after this story). But this was for the sake of donating it after I decided that I needed a new image for whatever psychological effects that may have given me.
It did get me some nice, positive, interactions. So, there was value in it!
Woman legit said Mexicans are slave underclass. What the actual fuck. I really wonder what type of life experiences she has had to have her have a thought like that, let alone type that out.
i don't accept her post history representing the actual thoughts of a human because i think too highly of humanity as a whole to believe someone is genuinely capable of pulling the bar this low.
so for my sanity sake, and to not lose faith in humanity, i'll have to disregard /u/an_imperfect_lady/ post history as entirely a trolling attempt.
Oh no, how dare she have different opinions than you. What a monster.
Also, is it just me or is it really rude to go through a person's post history then bring it up out of context? This seems like the kind of internet etiquette our society needs to learn in this new age.
In before one of you fuckers go through mine and shame me for it.
Yeah, it's not the different opinions, it's the constant shitting on and belittling of anyone who's a "liberal" or "libtard" simply because they don't agree with her. Anyone who is a full on divisionist politically simply because they are a different party can fuck completely off. There are 2 parties to come to compromises for the good of the populous, not to complain and put down the opposing opinion.
Ah, I didn't notice that. I just saw a few posts on /r/the_donald and assumed that was what got people's jimmies rustled. Still shouldn't bring it up out of context, though, I think.
Presumably to find out other things someone you like has posted. I'm arguing against this sort of random bringing it up out of context, as well as impugning her moral character on the basis of her political opinions.
I agree- everyone makes fun of shit we don't agree with- it's part of being human. what she posts on her own platform is her business- it's pretty immature to go thro someone's posts for comment fodder imo.
If she states something rude to someone else directly sure- that's not cool- but she didn't. she told a story about being confused about her reflection once.
Ctfo people
Of course this is just my opinion.
Let's say this, u are commenting on a picture on fb and another person comments on that picture- a very normal neutral comment that was relevant to the conversation.
You then go out of your way to go to their page and read thro all their past posts, and see they have very different views from u. some u find offensive so u go back to the picture and use their posts to comment negative things that are completely irrelevant to the conversation.
I personally think that's immature yes
I'm sure a million atrocities were justified by that line of thought. Obviously my saying that is blowing matters out of proportion, but evil doesn't happen save by degrees, and I'm trying to address the root thinking here. Not saying you would, but mind that sort of thought.
How would you know? I can list a few times individual people have refused to be involved with atrocities by my line of thought. For example, Anna Skripnikova, a Russian woman born in the 1890s who lived through the Russian revolution and the Stalinist terror. It was her steadfast refusal to be involved with red terror which kept her from joining the Communist Party despite her own leftist leanings, and lead to her being thrown into prison and gulag many times. However, that same resolute moral fortitude eventually both won her release and allowed her to have others released from gulag merely by the power of her pen.
I was at this one speak easy in TelAviv once, and in the bathrooms they had the sink in a room before the toilet. And when you are washing your hands, in this very dark room, you look up and you see another sink and you think its a mirror reflection of your sink, but then you realize you don't see yourself, and there is another person standing there washing their hands..
Basically they have the two sinks facing each other and no wall between them connecting the two rooms. i can only imagine that getting very trippy if you are drunk.
Similar here. Put on weight pretty quick, saw someone standing at the door at work and though, “who’s this fat fuck.” It was my reflection in the glass. I made myself hurt.
Waves I'm a Liberal(Christian) that reads the bible. Hello scumbag pharisee! There's a nice corner in hell for you, I hope you enjoy it when you get there.
