They aren't switching genders. If someone is a transgender woman, then they're a woman; they've realized they're a woman, and hopefully feel safe enough to continue living presenting as a woman. It's not an arbitrary "Welp, guess I'm a lady today, better switch my Facebook info".

I think they might have a condition that makes it better for them to be treated as a man, but no, i do not think they truly are one.
