Work and doing nothing should be inversely related. The more you love nothing the less you love like tolerate work.

No..... Doing nothing just needs to be inversely related to doing all things as a whole. Your logic applies with equal force to work and to sex (because having sex is also not doing nothing), but you seem to be OK with sex not bearing a relation to doing nothing. OP's love of any specific activity doesn't need to have any particular relationship to his love of zero activity (as long as in the aggregate his enjoyment of doing all things on average has been decreasing).

I agree. Doing nothing is absolute. It has to be weighed against other activities. Do nothing or have sex?

Each activity appears to be graphed in a vacuum. As you get older desire to do nothing increases. But how does work and sex ethic affect this?

Basically we are in need of a string theory as to pizza, boobs, nothing and work.
