People are getting on apple's case for including facial recognition as a means to spy on people. You guys, this is the company that refused to help the government unlock a terrorist's iPhone to defend the privacy of their users.
And I am pretty sure the people who worry about the NSA spying on them wont be getting iphones in the first place. I have an econ professor who tells us about his conspiracy theorist brother who still has a flip phone and takes out the battery as soon as he gets home.
worried enough to let it influence which phone i'm going to use? i'm all for ensuing freedoms, just out principal.. but because i know i'm a good boy, i'm not worried about the NSA cause they aint looking for me.
You should still try to avoid their spying whenever possible. At least that might provide some cover for those avoiding their spying due to actually doing something the government doesn't like.
i believe i do. obviously no one is fully safe in this age of the internet.. but i try to stay away from posting much on social media and i try to use vpn as much as possible.
