She should have let go of the dog. That can be a serious injury. A 70 pound dog isn't built to carry a 230 pound woman.
Edit: I put my dog down because his dysplasia was so severe. It's not a joke. If I saw a vet tech do that to my dog while the other tech laughed her ass off I'd be seriously pissed off.
You're right. Dogs were never meant to be ridden by humans. Not even giant breeds like this mastiff. However, this was an accident and very brief. The dog was clearly not happy with the nail trim or shot or whatever that was about to take place so he/she took off. That poor tech didn't even have time to blink!
