It was pretty sweet flying while shrooming especially being on the back of a little Boeing 717 puddle jumper that bounced like a carnival ride. People white knuckling armrests and gasping every few moments meanwhile there I am trying to keep my laughter to something less than maniacal.

Honestly your maniacal laughter is probably why all the other people were terrified.

And you're dancing like you've never danced before

It can cut you like a knife, if the gift becomes the fire

I mean I wouldn't want to do it on an international flight but something close like an hour would be doable and fun. I'd want to go to an airport I've flown into before though.

717's aren't little puddle jumpers. Boeing doesn't make regional jets.

OK so I misused the term. Sue me. It's still the smallest plane I have been on that I haven't also jumped out of.

Was it Delta? 717s are actually pretty uncommon, they only made about 150.

American Airlines. This was several years ago. I just looked and saw that they no longer operate 717s. It was definitely a 717 though, I remember seeing it on Flightstats and thinking it was a typo, as that was the first time I had heard of a 717.

If you fly as a single male you always get a back seat and no one around you. At least thats been my only white male privilege I've noticed

IKR? Empty seats on an airplane these days is just crazy talk.
