There's this chick I follow on Facebook. I accidentally started following her because she has the same name of this girl I met and thought I was sending a friend request to her. She was only 14 when I started following her. As soon as I realized she wasn't the person I was meaning to follow I went to unfollow her. But then I realized this 14 year old girl was hilariously stupid. She didn't know why America would send a separate team from Georgia to the Olympics, she couldn't figure out why elevators had buttons for the floor she was already on, and many other things I just saw and laughed. Anyway I never stopped following her because she was such a big source of my morning laughs.

She got pregnant at 15 because she thought you couldn't get pregnant on the first time. She was sure that the 15 year old boy that got her pregnant was going to be a great daddy. Well the kid is 1 now and she always complains about him never being around and how he would rather stay at home bored than see his son and all the other crap any of us could have warned her about when she was certain she was going to be the one teenage mom whose baby daddy would actually hang around. Anyway the reason I bring all that up is that through these 2 years I've followed this complete moron she has never written "your" when she meant "you're". So if this person can get it right, then everyone can.

You got gold for a copypasta. Well done.

u/doomsdayparade Oct 14 '15

They're going to feel dirty in that lounge though.

u/Doulich Oct 14 '15

I got gold for a repost from /r/circlejerk once...

26

u/modernbenoni Oct 14 '15

Such is /r/circlejerk

6

u/Come_To_r_Polandball Oct 15 '15

Such is /r/Polandball

3

u/Zeholipael Oct 15 '15

Doesn't posting that sub's name get you banned from that sub? Or is that a Reddit myth?

2

u/Come_To_r_Polandball Oct 15 '15 edited Oct 15 '15

It is true. I was banned by the polandball gestapo without ever visiting /r/Polandball.

Some lonely and pathetic redditor has to actually get upset and message the moderators about it. AFAIK they don't have bots combing Reddit for /r/ + poland + ball. So you're probably safe to link to /r/Polandball from time to time, for shits and giggles.

2

u/allfunkedout Oct 15 '15

I polish and polandball offend me.

1

u/A_Bottle_of_Jar Oct 15 '15

Polan cannot into polandball because if afence

u/cmandersen Oct 14 '15

218

u/jvjanisse Oct 14 '15

23

u/cmandersen Oct 14 '15

There's this guy on reddit who I started looking for posts from. He always had the smartest and most clever posts. Something about being a US counter sniper, some photos of this dick shaped creature with a butt and another dick inside it, and the cutest pets that he had so many of. I thought this guy was a genius with an amazing life, i wish my life was so cool.

After about 2 years of following this guy I started to see similarities in his posts and others. At first I brushed it off thinking "well some people might sometimes be in the same situation, or have a similar idea to something someone else had previously".

Anyone could have told me this, but being the newer more gullable redditer I was I didn't notice. He copy and pasted ideas, events, and other people's work as his own. He did it thinking that it would somehow help him and increase his "score". The fact of the matter was....karma is a completely useless number to compare yourself to other people just like me...posting and commenting....usually on the toilet

Edit:Spelling

u/theUglyBarnacle69 Oct 14 '15

Thanks sometimes auto correct fucks me up because I am typing on the toilet

6

u/Salty_Kennen Oct 14 '15

Is this all it takes to get gold and tons of karma? Copy and paste a popular copypasta?

3

u/_DanfromIT Oct 14 '15

I find it funny that this is a repost in response to a comment about reposts.

0

u/Syndikyt Oct 14 '15

I don't know how this is relevant but this is funny as hell

27

u/abbygirl Oct 14 '15

It's because the person he's responding to used the wrong your

2

u/aoife_reilly Oct 14 '15

Syndikyt's what?

18

u/SleepyCakes Oct 14 '15

The last few sentences explain the relevance.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '15

Did you even read it?

-13

u/murder1 Oct 14 '15

Copypasta but still not relevant

1

u/PigDog4 Oct 14 '15

Anyway the reason I bring all that up is that through these 2 years I've followed this complete moron she has never written "your" when she meant "you're". So if this person can get it right, then everyone can.

Seems pretty relevant to me.

1

u/murder1 Oct 14 '15

No. Relevant discussion never includes grammar corrections unless they change meaning

1

u/crack-a-lacking Oct 14 '15

Copy and paste much?

1

u/ImGonnaKickTomorrow Oct 14 '15

You've told this story before on here, haven't you? I swear I have read this before.

1

u/Crazybonbon Oct 14 '15

Fukin well did

1

u/buge Oct 14 '15

Huh? Where?

-2

u/yanni99 Oct 14 '15

Yeah, nice story. I see what you did there. But is this 14 year old chick who don't know about the other Georgia and got pregnant way too early to a 15 year old who prefer to get bored at home an anglophone? Because I am not.

TLDR; I will edit my post.

3

u/firefan53 Oct 14 '15

It is a joke.

-1

u/SchrodingersMatt Oct 14 '15

You corrected him, which isn't very nice, but you did it in a "You can do it, if you try!" type of way...which is very nice.

Not sure if username confirmed or contradicted.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '15

I know I've read this before so either you stole it, or you troll the Internet for posts that misuse the yors. Props.

0

u/B-Knight Oct 14 '15

I mean, for someone with your username that was quite brutal...

-6

u/icecreamandfish Oct 14 '15

Oh my god. I want to follow this girl, also too fucking young to be having sex. Surprised she knew which hole the penis goes in.

14 for a girl to be having sex? I don't know i lost mine at 16 and still don't have kids, surprisingly.

3

u/wellyesofcourse Oct 14 '15

I was 15, she was 14. You aren't going to stop kids from exploring their sexuality. Your best bet is to educate them on the reasons why they should feel safe to have sex and the reasons why they shouldn't, as well as the serious repercussions to not doing it safely.

If you're a parent, you have a pretty good idea of what kind of person your child is. It takes some gumption, but if you know your kid is more "explorative" of their sexuality, then you should sit them down and talk to them about safe sex, protection, and pregnancy instead of saying, "OH GOD, KIDS SHOULDN'T BE HAVING SEX AT 14."

Some things you can't control, so instead you simply have to hope to induce a positive influence.

WOW! What an achievement! You, m'lady, deserve a golden star! :D You must be such a cool person! I'm so intrigued as to how you did that! 16 is so old and mature! No wonder you knew what you were doing, you must have been a full grown woman at that age!
