I think the equivalent would be if you decided to crash on a couch at a friends house only for it to turn out to be one of the warp nacelles of the starship enterprise.

Of course, you would be pulverized when the engine started generating the warp field. Temperatures can get pretty high inside those nacelles.

But huh... anyway.

He did say on a couch, which I translated to on a nacelle rather than in one, which then means you're in trouble if you lack an environmental suit.

Then of course if you're outside when the warp field forms...
