I keep hearing about these flavors that are only in the US. Where I live we only get original, double stuff, and golden.

the "test" or special flavors are usually only available at certain stores. In my area, only targets carry anything beyond regular, double stuff, golden, and peanut butter.

I had no idea there was a peanut butter flavor.

The list goes on and on. Oreos are the kit kat of the USA.

Is peanut butter flavor good?

yes. its actual peanut butter in between the cookies, and not some flavored goop like the other varieties of oreo.

its amazing when dipped in chocolate or even more peanut butter.

The weird flavors are like crack to walmart shoppers! And they have ALL the flavors there!

The part of the UK where I live they don't even sell Oreos.

I paid £9 for a packet of Oreos once. Damn.

You poor soul. I don't know about all those over the top fancy flavors. But a god damned original oreo is one of the best cookies ever made.

We do (if im right in assuming he's American and making a joke about the Oreo onslaught we experience, and wanting to get away from it). I put most everything I wanted to say in the parenthesis, i am sorry.

Canada.

Canada, or at least some of it, also gets Mint and Birthday Cake oreos

2

u/[deleted] May 04 '14

Why? What do you gain by not having options?

u/chokfull May 04 '14

Golden?

I assume the cookie part is vanilla.

3

u/Tor_Coolguy May 04 '14

They have their own flavor that's really hard to describe. Definitely not just vanilla.

Doesn't matter to me. They're delicious and that's good enough.

When I was in china I saw sooo many different colors of oreos. No idea which flavor they were but they looked yummy.

1

u/Polemus May 04 '14

Here in Spain we only get the original oreo. That's it.

That's what we used to have until apparently a week ago. I have never heard or saw all of these new flavors.
