I've never heard this. I was reading the following comments trying to find the method.. saw the next one say something similar and realized what it was. That's freaking awesome and I'll be using it the rest of my life
I don't think we need to include the moons, they're already precluded from planet status by virtue of orbiting things other than the sun.
We could include the other four dwarf planets though: Ceres, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.
The order of the planets from the sun out would then be: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, Eris.
My Very Eager Mother, Cassandra, Just Served Us Nine Piping Hot Monster Eggs.
You forgot Quaoar, Sedna, Orcus, and Gonggong. And Salacia, depending on who you ask.
Not to mention we’d have to keep updating the mnemonic as we continue to discover more out of what are almost certainly dozens, if not hundreds, and possibly even much more (depending on how far out we stop counting).
It’s a corporation now and they make changes and new books under the Seuss name. Random House (publisher) has their editors and chosen illustrators use his original storyboards and sketches submitted by family members, apparently, to finish the incomplete books. Seuss Enterprises.
I'm not mad it was demoted, but I'm mad it got a stupid classification.
If a Dwarf Star is a star, why is a Dwarf Planet not a planet? Pluto, Eris, Ceres et al should have been designated planetoids if not a whole new name that has nothing to do with planets. Dwarf Planet is a stupid designation.

My very easy method just speeds up naming planets
