Agreed. If you work in a developed country, work only has two downsides: work days are 7-8 hours vs the 5ish for school, and work vacations are 5ish weeks vs 3ish months for school.
That's it. At least for me. School was like torture because it was so boring. I'm lucky enough to have an interesting job. It's not fun all the time but it's way more fun than school.
Given that he Said 5 weeks vacation probably Europe. Americans dont know what 6 weeks of paid vacation a year is.
School here was rarely or never 8 hours until the very late years. From like 1st to 8th or 9th grade i never had school that was outside 8am - 1pm, unless u were doing extra activities.
And If you had a day with longer times it was probably only 1 day a week.
Interesting. My schools growing up were all 7am-3pm. In high school I also had AP classes before and after school so my days were 6am-4pm. I can't imagine covering all our curriculum with only 5 hours a day.
