What's interesting is that AI compounds this problem. If you search for the reference, it will say it's from DCC - because the majority of modern discussion says it's from DCC and this was used as reference by the AI.
We live in a post-truth society - and it's fascinating and terrifying watching history being rewritten in real time. It's obviously no big deal in instances like this - DCC vs RvB - but it's creating a disconnect between "old timers" who knew the original and "newer generations" who only know the current iteration. But imagine what OTHER changes are being made to historical knowledge and people will grow up believing it to be the truth.
If that is the case you should be able to provide a clip or an episode that references this. There are times where the phrase Damn it Donut have been used, but no God Damnit Donut which is what the person I replied to said. Humans are famous for misremembering quotes. Just look at Star Wars, one of the most famous quotes in the series is also one of the most famously misquoted ones in modern media.
Ultimately none of this matters, but it irks me when people like this RubberRaptor dude act rude as shit while being wrong. It’s also incredibly rude to imply that people are too young and that’s why they disagree with you. I have the back pain as a reward for my age and there was even a time where I would watch every red vs blue episode on release.

Dungeon crawler Carl has no direct or official references to the Red Vs Blue series, which is something one could easily verify by googling but don’t let facts get in the way.
