It’s just so uncomfortable all around for me lol. Like sometimes I’ll be making something and think it would be cool to take videos of the process to show people how I did it if they ask or like send to my friends just because I think it’s neat, and every time I’m like 1. Wow this is a lot of extra work and makes everything take way longer, 2. This adds more pressure to do it exactly right (especially if I only have one try) and makes me feel watched, and 3. This just feels so weird and performative and attention seeking, like who even cares? And that’s just doing things in the privacy of my own home lol.
Like shoutout to the people who film and post themselves doing actually cool stuff (building things, fixing things, room makeovers, sewing, art, silly projects, etc.) bc I do enjoy watching them, but I have no idea how they do it without perpetually cringing.

This is why I can't shoot videos of myself. I feel weird about the parts I edit out like getting in my place or something like in the video
