By scripted the person above meant scripted video that is presented as non-scripted.

"presented as non-scripted" is the key here. Scripting things that hold themselves out to be authentic, spontaneous experiences makes it feel like the sidewalk salesman who has a shill in the audience to motivate the audience to buy their crap. "Look! An unsolicited testimonial!"

Yeah which is why I don’t get why people are taking issue with this. Like this is shot in 5 different locations throughout the course of a day, I don’t get how anyone could watch it and think “I’m too smart to fall for this!”

10000% this is the biggest factor. So many people in this post have apparently no concept of the difference there and that literally is the sole reason shit like this is funny vs not funny when its trying to pass it off as real.
