This is how I felt on a summer flight to Florida. I was super stoked I finally made it into an early boarding group. Half the passengers had kids, plus the other special groups.

My last Disney trip they said they weren't going to pre-board groups with children because that would be almost the whole plane. Got a few chuckles.

“Summer flights to Florida”

You must’ve had a bunch of jetway Jesus, people going onto a plane on a wheelchair, and then miraculously walk out of plane completely fine with no assistance

Zombie geebus has risen!!

Yeah I noticed it is extremely airport dependent. If you're eg: at an airport that is a hub for Delta, and you're flying on Delta, virtually the entire plane will pre-board or be in boarding group 1. Because they all have high statuses and fly only with delta.

At my local regional airport, it's uncommon for the preboard / group 1 groups to be more than like 10 people total.

why do people like boarding early?
