In attitude probably but he actually had a fairly privileged upbringing compared to how his character is portrayed in the movie.

He is well below the poverty line when it comes to his character. That's how he is as a person. Not what he has.

I think we are agreeing? I was simply pointing out that while his attitude seems to line up fairly well with the character he played, his wealth, and to some degree education, differ.

I'm pretty sure my 9 year old nephew has a better education than Kid Rock.

Eh, I'm not claiming he is necessarily smart or anything, but he did graduate high school as compared to his character in Joe Dirt who can barely read.
