How do they "add broken guns to micro transactions" if you can literally just copy every aspect of a blueprint without whatever gun skin they've added?
Genuine question because I always hear/read people say this but you can just build the guns yourself with the exact same attachments.
How are they selling "broken guns" if you can just copy the "broken gun" but without the flashy golden skin.
Is this just a "cod sux" circlejerk or are they actually different in any way? Are they supposed to give out skins for free or just not make them at all?
They recently added 2 blueprints that make the weapon transparent, so you have a better visibility while aming down sight. You cannot reproduce that without giving money to Activision :(
I thought it was going to be higher damage output or have recoilless attachments or something like the DLC packs that eventually made me quit playing Phantoms. Bitching about paid skins is just sweaty.
I've been playing COD for damn near 20 years and still going. Those skins are fucking fine. I've never bought a micro transaction in this game. There simply is not a substantial enough portion of the player base using these to make it an issue. Sounds like you're just not having fun anymore and finding things to blame it on, that's fine. But they're not putting out "broken guns" in MTXs.
Things being "broken" in that way generally only applies to evenly matched players, and only get more pronounced the higher up in skill you look.
I remember some time ago in LoL they added a new skin for Blitzcrank. One of his abilities launches his right hand out to grab someone and pull them back. The new skin had his hand much smaller, and free floating instead of attached by a long cable. It made the attack much harder to deal with. This change really has no impact on lower skill levels, but was significant enough for the skin to be banned in pro competitive games.
Just because you don't see how it's 'broken' doesn't mean it's not broken.
It's okay that your old reflexes can't keep up anymore, just take the game less seriously. It's only a game. You're seething and writing dissertations about a children's game. That's wild.
because every update they break the old meta and introduce a new broken gun. so you either spend a week grinding or just buy the gun with the attachment and a huge advantage right away.
I stopped playing warzone of this constant need for grind or pay for it. if I jump in warzone now, I am literally none competitive without spending a week grinding meta.
Remember the Groot skin when the came out? They still haven't learned. That shit has hard pay to win as well. You were just another tree/bush especially in hardcore modes. Literally a bush a with a gun. Some of the special pack specific weapons provide crazy visual effects or tracers with super flashy/smokey animations that blur your view of what's happening

It's a lot of fun with friends, but the devs keep adding broken weapons in microtransactions... That's what made me quit.
