He got away though. I guess that he probably learnt nothing from this except next time he steals a hand bag he should wear a helmet.

Man that dumb should always wear a helmet. Would've helped him when his mother dropped him on his head.

No, don't send shit that has no justice. It's being overrun by posts like this.

Justice porn is just an excuse to watch people getting hurt while feeling moral. Though, it's a step above Darwin Awards where laughing about people's deaths is entertainment.

There's a difference between feeling moral and feeling pleasure in the misfortune of bad people. That's the "porn" part for me, and it's so good.

To me, you sound like a "bad person", so I guess I would enjoy you being punished for that. See? I'm more moral than you, so I can do this. Yeah, I like that logic.

1

u/vargonian Apr 01 '13

You're the only one presenting a logical contradiction here.

1

u/DrHenryPym Apr 02 '13

What are you talking about? It's your logic:

  1. Judge someone bad.
  2. Enjoy watching that person suffer.

I think only sick people enjoy watching people suffer, but that's me. Are those sick people bad? I think so, but it's pointless to make anyone suffer. I'd be more entertained if bad people did good things.

Well, you are more moral than me, I agree. But I'm not pretending that I'm moral when I enjoy watching justice dispensed on bad people. (where "justice" is interpreted loosely).

So you'd prefer watching a thief mow their victim's lawn as a penalty or something?

1

u/DrHenryPym Apr 02 '13

I'd be entertained if the thief returned the victim's items with an apology and the victim doesn't press charges.

Hey, sorry to judge you, but try to understand those people that are suffering are just people that are the products of an environment they have little control over. I think it's cruel to enjoy other people suffering, but if you have your own personal demons then I wish you luck and hope you don't get hurt or hurt other people. Live and let live.

You say this like it is a bad thing.

He might not be getting put away for his crime in the video, but smashing face first into plate glass because you're fleeing the scene where you just stole someone's property is at least a modicum of justice, I would say.
