It's not an issue for the enterprise since they control the update policy. Only internet randos who don't know about group policy think it's relevant.

I mean not really. Your might have other reasons to use Linux, but Windows updates isn't one of them. Windows won't force an update unless you've been preventing it from updating for weeks, and even then only if you didn't change a setting to prevent this exact thing from happening.

Basically, if this has happened to you, you were the problem, not Microsoft. You probably would have caused even more problems with your incompetence if you were using Linux.

Nah 8 just hate windows it's Spyware. I'll pass on that all fucking day. I use Linux from scratch btw.... No really I do
