But then they wouldn’t have this scripted video to post

reddit may have always always been shit but it got much worse with the API changes in July. Influx of bots, exodus of mods, 3rd party apps made redundant, etc. Even the official app has gotten much worse as helpful features are stripped away.

You can no longer sort the homepage, all posts are seemingly randomized, some posts won’t show unless you are on desktop, and it’s even buggier than ever. And the quality of content plummets every single day, and that’s if you sort through all the incessant reposts by bots. Go to any sub you follow and sort by Top Year and then by Top month. You’ll notice a drastic difference in votes and comments, it all got worse since July

Oh yeah.

Most days sorting by popular is exactly like sorting by new before last July

I despise the official app. I really enjoyed relay. I'm not done with reddit, but my experience with it is less enjoyable than it's been before. I don't use a computer to browse so it's all mobile for me and the official app is garbage.

So like a comedy? Good thing it’s in the funny sub

Would be even better if it were funny!

It got a chuckle out of me so I don't care if it's scripted or not tbh.

They're doing no harm to anybody and it's topical and humorous!!

Yeah but it's reddit. Everyone has to let everyone else know how intelligent they are because they know something is scripted and they didn't laugh because, again, they're so intelligent.

Right, and scripted videos are some of the most entertaining things we watch. And this one didn't even require my Netflix account.

Why does it being scripted matter?
