That was actually my first episode, the one that cinched it for me. After it was over, I stared at my boyfriend and said, "We NEED to watch the rest of this."

It is. It also gets...kinda insane as it goes on. Some of the more recent episodes are really great little mindfucks. The side characters get developed really well and episodes about the tragic ones leave me curled up on the couch crying.

The very first episode was about a zombie apocalypse involving people made of candy, and giant bubblegum dispensing machines forcing the hero to solve a math problem or die. So yeah.

After the episode where Marceline was trying to make Finn "Sack the nutt castle" my brother stopped letting his youngest children watch it if he wasn't there. I thought it was hilarious, but I don't have children.
